Picked up this Talo Edition GP-100 today

Picked up this Talo Edition GP-100 today

I've had my eye on that version for a while now. I've got a 3" 10mm and love it. But I also have a 3" Smith 66. The Smith really is lighter and more, "Svelte" than the GP100 so I'm having a hard time justifying it.

You're absolutely right. While I have absolutely no use for one, it makes me want to add a GP-100 to my collection.

I love the grips! I have the 3" Wiley Clapp version. I also have the GP 100 Match Champion.
Both are great shooters! I know you'll enjoy it!

Congratulations to you on your TALO GP. As you know, it’s a beautiful revolver in every way. I’m a big fan of the stainless GP as I have three of them myself. The GP’s, along with the Henry 357/38 All Weather, are more fun than many shooting fans know.

I have the WC version but I changed the grips to the old compact gp100 style. Much better. I also have 2 6” and 3 4” gp100s and an sp101. All great guns.

I would love to see more pics from the OP and everyone else. The gp100 is a beautiful gun to me.

Very nice, one of the Wiley Clapp versions is on my want list. Saw a lightly used one on GB a month back that I am kicking myself now for not getting.

Rugers are built like heavy machinery. S&W revovlers are built like sewing machines. Old Colt revolvers were built like fine swiss clocks.

I have all three, and weirdly enough, Ruger revovlers are my favorite. The ergos are great and they clean up very nicely and easily. You gotta give kudos to Bill Ruger.

I have an old 686 no dash and a gp-100 and I actually like the GP better. Ruger makes a great revolver.

I do not. They look VERY similar to a hardwood set made by Altamont, but I am not sure.
All I know is that the gun is Sku#01782
