Pre-Model 10 arrived today at my FFL, purchased the 681 as well. While I was doing the paperwork, they pointed out a 625-3 in .45 ACP with a 5" barrel that just came in on consignment. Yep. Probably time for an intervention....   | |||

I'm a fan of revolvers, primarily S&W 357s without the retarded lock. The L frame is my favorite. I'll post pics of my harem when I get the chance but my 686-1 is going in the box with me when I die. It's just superb. | |||

Here's a picture of one that is not so pretty... but it has a history.... not only did my father carry it with him for the time I knew him... but he also had it strapped to his chest for 10 days back in 1950 in Korea while he and the 1st Marine Division delt with a few Chinese that has snuck across the boarder.  the hammer got broken off when it got dropped while he was riding on a tank and he had it repaired later. Picked all three up yesterday, cleaned and inspected. Everything's good to go. Picked up extra moon clips, loading and unloading tools for the 625 as well.  | |||

Thought I was seeing the K22 with your 8 3/8" gun. Too accustomed to seeing wad cutter holes from the center fires..  . Never the less, the 15 looks to have a Millett rear which mates nicely for target shooting with a Patridge blade front. Always wanted a 14 in a 6" but they seem to have been made in limited numbers. | |||

Good eye...it does have a Millet which I'm extremely happy with. Taking it tomorrow to qualify with on the shooting part of the Instructor certification. | |||
