Gents,

I own a PO1 and love it. My vote goes there!

The HK P2000, though I personally prefer the P30SK.

Not to mention the ammo for .357 SIG is still hard to find and expensive when you do as in like a dollar a round for practice FMJ ammo.

Limiting my choices to the three mentioned - I’d pick a P30SK in 9mm.

I have one in my carry rotation that I’m very comfortable with.

In winter months I sub my USP-C in 357Sig for the P30SK. I like the terminal ballistics of the 357Sig when extra layers of clothing and/or bulky jackets might be worn by those that might need “servicing”.

I'd pick the CZ, mainly because my favorite gun-pusher is having a great sale on CZ models, and CZ is offering a $50 rebate.

(If you held a gun to my head this week, I think I'd pick the P07 as my favorite hammer-fired DA/SA I've ever used.)

Ok. On the other thread a guy just said Grayguns finally made the P2000 flat trigger. It’s a game changer in the HK guns.

So here is how I spend your money. Buy the P2000 in LEM, adjust it to light or heavy or in between as to your preference. Buy the Grayguns flat trigger. Consider also the GG short reset kit. Add the 45C bigger mag release. Sights of choice. Throw away all your other guns because this will be that good.

The P2000 is easily one of the most over looked guns on the planet. (You don’t have to do all those upgrades I mentioned, it’s very good out of the box in LEM, but those upgrades are exceptional).

I am anxious to hear your thoughts. Guns are like cars, one person’s awesome is another’s meh. The P2K has been my Goldilocks for a very long time. It has its warts like any of them but it’s probably my favorite of all the “serious” guns I have ever used….but I am a DA/SA Luddite and I can be a “crappy trigger whisperer” so to speak. Smile.

At any rate the P2000 and to a slightly lesser extent the P30 are my absolute favorite defensive handguns, but I’m a little touched. Razz

So I shot it today, and was very impressed. It was like a laser... I may need to save up for the SK version. Was able to fire reliably 2 inch groups with little effort.

I know there is a spring swap to get a better trigger pull. I may try that...

I just put the flat trigger on my P2000. I had previously changed the trigger springs giving it a lighter pull. The flat trigger is nice improvement.
