Has anyone swapped the slide assemblies from the .45 to the .22LR?

I've had a P220 Classic chambered in 22LR for years. Right after it was purchased, I obtained a .45ACP X-Change kit for it. What do you want to know?

Yeah, works great. Got the gun in .45 and got the .22 kit a few days afterwards. Shoot the .22 way more than the .45.

I think the OP is asking about the other way, but that works fine as well.

I have that setup. Mine runs best when cleaned before each range trip and run wet. It has never run as well as my Ruger MKII or PPQ 22. That being said, FF/FE are great training tools.

I have the .45acp handgun and a .22 conversion kit, if that is what you are asking about. Works great.
