I just love my Beretta 21A in 22lr. Works great with CCI Stingers and velocitors. its a Fun gun and reliable in the first 80-100 rd after that it gets dirty and starts to jam. But a quick clean gets it back to action.

Do these count? They’re a little bigger than most “mouse guns”, but are all .32s: P230 chambered in 7.65mm Browning (.32 ACP), flanked by an early S&W Model 632 on the right, and an uncataloged S&W Model 032 on the left. The 632 and 032 are both chambered in .32 H&R Magnum, but also shoot .32 Long and .32 ACP.

I have 4 Ruger LCR's, one in .22LR, two in .22 WMR, one in .327 Federal Magnum but I keep .32 H&R Magnum in it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Democracy is 2 Wolves & a Lamb debating the lunch menu. How is the recoil on the SIG p230 in 7.65mm Browning? I keep/shoot .32 H&R Magnum out of my LCR .327 Fe. Mag. I find the recoil acceptable with 32 H&R Mag. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Democracy is 2 Wolves & a Lamb debating the lunch menu. Recoil with the P230 was very light. I haven't shot one chambered in .380 so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but it's a sweet shooter in .32 ACP. The S&W revolvers are both Airweights and weigh about the same as the P230 (roughly 17 ounces). They're easy to shoot with .32 Magnums, but an absolute blast to shoot with .32 ACP--it's almost like shooting a .22LR. It's great to get in some light practice or plinking with the smaller round, then load them up with magnums for a reasonably-powered six-shot J-frame carry gun.

I've actually been looking at some J-Frames chambered in .32 recently. I'm curious about the .32 ACP in them, as that's one of the primary reasons I'm considering one. I've heard conflicting reports. How have yours done in regard to accuracy, light strikes, and extraction?

I’ve had good luck shooting .32acp out of my .327 Fed Mag SP101. No extraction issues or FTF and accuracy is fine. I doubt that I’ve shot more than 100 rounds of 32acp out of it though so it’s not the greatest of reviews. “Everybody wants a Sig in the sheets but a Glock on the streets.” -bionic218 04-02-2014

Thanks. I'm already loading .32ACP for a couple of semi-autos, so there's some appeal to having a revolver that I can feed it through as well. I'd likely end up loading for the appropriate chambering as well, but it's nice to have options.

Here is an article from Chris Baker on Lucky Gunner why shooting .32 ACP out of a revolver might not be a good idea: https://www.luckygunner.com/lo...2-acp-in-a-revolver/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Democracy is 2 Wolves & a Lamb debating the lunch menu. Since we went from tiny little mouse guns to small cal here is a HK4 that I recently bought back from my brother. Sold it to him for $500 years ago and bought it back for the same. (I get him guns at wholesale) so he didn't mind. Calibers are .380, .32 ACP and .22LR will add the .25 ACP when one comes along. ------------------------------------- Always the pall bearer, never the corpse.

.32 ACP works flawlessly in both revolvers. It's a semi-rimmed cartridge, so each round sits in the cylinder pretty much the same as a standard rimmed cartridge like .32 Long or .32 Magnum. There haven't been any light strikes, and extraction works perfectly as well. In fact, of the three guns pictured above, the only one I have to be careful with is the semi-auto P230, to ensure that each round is loaded in the magazine correctly to avoid rim lock. I haven't done any specific accuracy testing or shooting from a rest with the two revolvers, but in normal practice with a mix of .32 Magnum, .32 Long, and .32 ACP, I didn't notice any significant change in accuracy. (I'm sure point of aim / point of impact changed with each different load, but group sizes for the various loads all seemed about the same.)

I really like Chris's work, and that article is no exception, but most of his objections to .32 ACP in a revolver seem to be things that "might" happen or "could" happen. Also, he was using a revolver chambered in .327 Federal--I wonder if accuracy might have been affected by the longer chamber, compared to my guns with the shorter .32 H&R Magnum chambers, or something like an S&W Model 30 or 31 with an even shorter .32 Long chamber. I can only speak to my own experience, but I've fired hundreds of rounds of .32 ACP through those revolvers and have never experienced a single issue. In fact, the only issue I ever had with either gun was a single factory round of Magtech .32 S&W Long (not .32 ACP) with a deformed case head that wouldn't load properly. Everything else in .32 Magnum, .32 Long, and .32 ACP has loaded, fired and extracted perfectly. PS: How have we made it this far in a thread about mouse guns without mentioning this video masterpiece from Lucky Gunner? It's some of his best work: Real Men Don't Carry Pocket Pistols

From the article:
Made me LOL...definitely written back in the good ol' days...I doubt Manny would be able to sneak that by the woke sensors these days! I guess I might be offended if I didn't carry a .45 every day . I still enjoy playing with the little stuff, though. And they're practical...I had to go deal with a raccoon at the in-laws' house this afternoon, and went straight to the safe to grab my J-Frame in .22LR.

In the article https://www.luckygunner.com/lo...arry-pocket-pistols/ Manny Mansfield keeps using the word "clip" vs. "magazine." In "that case, a high capacity clip can help..." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Democracy is 2 Wolves & a Lamb debating the lunch menu.
