Outside of their Beretta 96 magazines not working in the Cx4 Storm, all my Mec-Gar mags have been top notch. I think they will do just fine with this. I do wish they'd make some HK magazines and ones for the Walther PPQ/PDP line.

Have you noted any issues with your Beretta or SIG or CZ mags denting?

Um, you do realize there was an emoji "wink" in my post, right? My initial comment was made in jest, partially regarding the so-called "indestructibility" of factory Glock mags with their poly 'armor'.

I find it odd as well. You would think the G43x/G48 magazines would be front and center in the press teaser. Maybe Mec Gar is teaming up with Glock for an OEM 43x/48 magazine that will come standard with new G43x and G48 models. Big Grin

That doesn't make any sense. I read your first post and it looks to me like you just wanted to find a way to bitch.

Depending on the price point, I might get a couple for my 19 just to see. Hard to compete with the Magpul Glock magazine price point, though. And I've beaten the hell out of their 21 round magazines in my IPSC Limited (minor) Glock 34 with no problems at all.

Not in stock yet, but our very own Greg Cote has them up on his website. $19.

Going to buy a bunch to try at work.

They'll probably be popular with the gamers assuming basepads and replacement springs and followers will be available. Fitting one more round in there might mean being able to get to 25+1 with an extension and a 3D printed follower.

With those mags, won't you now have to change your factory mag. release as it will get chewed up by metal mags?

While it is nice to have options, I don't know why at that price point, some would choose Mec Gar over OEM/Glock mags as they are the same price, for one extra round.

You won't have to install a metal mag catch. The mecgar is dimpled, not a slot.

I like metal magazines and these are a few bucks cheaper than OEM Glock. I will definitely run a few thousand rounds before using them on duty.

I shoot Shadow Systems guns, and have been extremely happy with using Mags. That said when these Mac Gar mags become available, I may try them out.

He mentioned he hopes to have them at the end of the month.
