I'm a decent shot with Sigs and 1911. Glock trigger, for me, doesn't measure accuracy wise up so want to upgrade the Glock 26 to something approaching the Sig or 1911 trigger. Suggestions? U.S. Army 11F4P Vietnam 69-70 NRA Life Member

The Glock Performance Trigger or one of Johnny Glocks offerings. Simple instructions for the minor modification to the GPT trigger mechanism housing required for installation in a gen3 pistol: https://sigforum.com/eve/forum...0601935/m/7050085315 One question, though- you mentioned both G23 and G26. Which is it? For the GPT in a .40 caliber Glock, I think you'll need to replace the ejector. ***edited*** I see that Glock now offers the GPT for the .40 caliber models. The ejector is probably the only difference.

If you actually expect something approaching a 1911 trigger out of a Glock you'll have to spend some dough. The closest I ever shot was a Taran Tactical build but it was $$$$$$$$ You can get good results with the GPT as Para suggests, or you can try the factory "minus" connector or another aftermarket "ghost" type connector to start with. For me on several Glocks this results in a very shootable ~5.25 lb trigger with a smoother break. It's not CRISP break, but it's shootable and capable of excellent accuracy. And it's very easy to install. --------------------------- My hovercraft is full of eels.

I installed a "minus" connector in my gen 3, Glock 26. Made a much better trigger for me (not a 1911 style trigger, but better than stock). Had a chance to shoot a Taran Tacitcal. That trigger was nice, for a Glock, and was also being coached by Clint Smith. PC

If you’re going aftermarket, I see the most positive reviews with Johnny Glock and Overwatch Precision. For OEM, I prefer to run everything stock on my Glocks and just change the trigger shoe from the factory serrated to the factory smooth. I prefer the standard Gen 3-4 action with the predictable wall and break. I like that I can take up the pre travel and then squeeze until it releases. The Gen 5 triggers feel a bit too ambiguous for me with the softer wall and I can never tell exactly when the break will come.
