In regards to that IWI Tavor TS-12 I would suggest that you think long at hard before making that purchase. Because it's uses are very limited and in time it will become a Wall Hanger or something to Pawn off.
So, seriously which is prettier. Because as you get older you will one day come to the conclusion that you are just too old to shoot with an ugly gun.

PS; if you ever take up shooting Skeet you won't ever have to worry about the next Rifle or Handgun. Because competitive Skeet will suck every free dime you have and you won't care a bit about that because you'll be having too much fun to quit.This message has been edited. Another vote for the S&W 610 revolver in 10mm. 4 or 6 inch barrel, up to you. Just a great gun in the Lord’s caliber.

I just returned from my LGS. I held both the Shadow 2 and TS 2. The Shadow 2 grip is very small. The TS 2 grip was perfect front to rear and only slightly wider than the Shadow 2.
I'd like a "gas pedal" and red dot on my next pistol. That is difficult and expensive on CZ pistols.
I'm still considering those three pistols. If money wasn't an issue, I'd simply buy the TS 2 Orange model and a custom mount. Unfortunately, money matters.
The easier and cheaper way to get those features is to buy a Canik SFX Rival-S. It weighs six ounces less than the either CZ, but the trigger isn't as nice.

The Shadow 2 optics ready is under $1200 at some online sellers. Having shot the Shadow 2 I think almost everyone will find it fine without a "gas pedal" and maybe some are available at Cajun Gun Works but not sure. To me it would be a no brainer to spend the little extra to get the Shadow 2 over the Canik. Good luck in your quest. I have larger hands and find the Shadow 2 grip prefect for me including under live fire. There are a wide variety of grips available for it also.

I second the recommended CZ Shadow 2 Series. Also look at the CZ SP-01 Competition. The actions on these pistols are unmatched in this price range.
You could spend a bit more and consider a Langdon Tactical 92G Elite.
These pistols in my opinion represent the best the market has to offer in DA/SA.
Full disclosure I own two LTT 92G Elite pistols. One has the NP3 optional coating on all the small parts.

Best money I spent was on training, and I think the best value for money is the Appleseed Pistol Clinic. It really helped me focus on what I wanted out of my pistol and what features I needed to accomplish them. (And of course, Para has a thread that explains that you'll eventually buy a Glock 19 or 17 at some point in life.) Second best purchase was an optic for my pistol. Game changer!
Soon, I will have an update. An FFL on Gun Broker just received payment for something I ordered, maybe not what you're expecting. LOL!

Thank you all for the great suggestions. I thought I knew the firearms market well, but I had not considered the CZ Shadow 2. Since considering this pistol, I've done a LOT of research into target pistols. The Shadow 2 suggestions pointed me in a new direction of firearms knowledge. Thank you gentlemen!
This is my new CZ Shadow 2 - Optics Ready. The Eemann Tech adapter plate has arrived and the new red dot is on order.
It's safe to dry fire this pistol, but I like the O-Ring cushions. Later this year, I'll update the internal parts with a Cajun Gun Works kit or Eemann Tech kit. You can barely make out the red fiber optic sight in the bottom picture. Earlier this year I bought AR500 steel plates. There will be a lot of ringing steel in my near future.

Yes sir, I agree.
However, my silver hair and slightly reduced visual acuity change things. It's better to add curb feelers on a Porsche and still drive fast than to sit at home. :-)
My plan is to slow down as slowly as possible.

First post here but congrats on the CZ. I purchased a shadow 2 orange late last year. Nicest pistol I have ever purchased. It makes me a much better shooter than I am on my own. The slide is not factory ready for an optic and didn't want to mill the slide just yet so I opted to put a red dot on a dovetail mount plate. Point the dot at steel at 25yds and I'll nail it nearly every time and point the dot at a 100yds and I still nail it a few times out of a 17rd magazine. Enjoy that pistol.
