These things just keep multiplying. Wink

Here's my new Bob Marvel 45ACP. This has always been one of my favorite Nighthawks, but the first I've owned. I love the feature set and, as always, Nighthawk's build quality and fit/finish are second to none.

Here it is with my other Nighthawks. This company builds some of my favorite semi-custom 1911’s. In fact, I’ve got another on the way next month. Who else is a fan of their pistols?

What kind of finish is that? Coating or actual stipling of the metal?

That is a beautifully executed pistol, and a very nice collection.

It’s a blackened stainless Nighthawk uses. A few other companies do something similar.

Yes sir, hand stippling

Anytime and glad you like it.

The appearance probably isn’t for everyone, but I definitely like it.

Nice NH Bac. I've only owned one Nighthawk but it was awesome! One of my favorite 1911s. A near perfect T3.

Gorgeous. Artwork as much as a perfect functional piece which is the ultimate form of craftsmanship. Love it and its friends too!

Sorry for my ignorance and slight thread drift, but who is Bob Marvel?

I swear I had
something for this

Bob Marvel is one of the premier 1911 custom builders. About a decade ago he trained a couple of gunsmiths at Nighthawk some of his secrets and tricks so more people could have access to his work instead of him building one at a time.

Some more of those details are here:
