If you read sw4566's post, he indicates that the matter is not necessarily rectified by simply removing the RDS.

next time I see the gun i'll check the extractor assembly for any damage - he put over 300 rounds downrange Tuesday with no issues after the recoil spring replacement

Are the numbers on the end of the two recoil spring assemblies the same?
