I understand the philosophy, but one gun does not work for every situation.

I carry the P365 as my EDC around town gun. It's light, easy to carry and a lot more effective than a j-frame. Yes I admit to it letting me get a little lazy and not carrying a larger, heavier gun.

I used to use my Sig C3 1911 as my EDC. I grew up shooting 1911's, the manual of arms is second nature and 1911's are what I shoot the best. The Commander slide is not a problem for concealment and the Officer length grip frame makes concealment that much easier. I've been known to carry it when feeling nostalgic. I've also have a Cot Defender, but that one is in the safe now until I get issues worked out. Hated the Colt recoil spring assembly and the PITA it is for reassembly after cleaning, so swapped it out for the EGW one. I've had a couple of bobbles with it since the switch that I need to get worked out.

Then there's the 329. Yes a lightweight 44 Magnum that is easy to carry but a beast to shoot. That's what I carry when hiking the woods, or schlepping camera equipment around on the trail. Bears and pissed off moose are a very real possibility, even in the neighborhood. All a 9mm from a P365 is going to do is piss one off.

Up until about two months ago it was:
Glock 19 Gen 5
Glock 26 Gen 4
S&W M&P 340

Now it's:
Glock 19 Gen 5
P365
P365 w/XL grip and PMM Comp (same gun as prior, just change it's set up as needed)

Keep my normal carry as a G19, always have an extra mag on me, and always a few in the car. Since it's getting hotter out, will carry the P365 iwb or pocket carry in its smallest form.

Seecamp 32 (nice to see several others here)
P365X with Holosun RDS
Kimber Micro 9

Like most of you, I have several others I can (and occasionally will) carry, but the top three fit the bill 99 percent of the time.

The big three lately have been:

Agency Arms Sage Edition Glock 45
X300 Ultra B
Trijicon RMR Type 2 RM06
Tier 1 Concealed MSP Pro Series AIWB

Glock 19 Gen 5
Streamlight TLR-7A
Holosun 407C V2 Green
Tenicor Velo AIWB

Sig P365X
No Light
Holosun 507K Red
LLOD AIWB

The Glocks are always carried with a spare 21 round magazine. The 365 is always carried with a spare 15 round magazine. I almost always (I mean 360 days a year) have an LCP in my front left pocket, too, but it is never my only gun.

I've been stuck on these three for simplicity for a while now. Work gun is a 34 Gen 5 with 509T and X300 Turbo.

OK...so I had to amend my list...

Colt King Cobra 2"
Glock 43
Glock 43X

Finding I'm carrying the 43X more now..

A Glock 19.5 MOS makes an honorable mention since I carry it to teach.

It’s a bit surprising how many non Sig pistols are the EDC for Sig Forum members.

Sad...if I wasn't in CA I'd probably have a P365XL on mine...but with all the drama and 100% markup on off-roster guns my only Sig now is a 1911 Stainless Railed...as set up it weighs almost 52 oz...my Glock G43 is 22 oz, so it's hard to justify the Sig...

Plus this is a very open minded group.
