For the last 30 years my #1 choice has been a M-36 Smith .38 Spl...still have it but I now carry a M-60 Smith .357 loaded with Speer Gold Dot 135's. #2 is a Sig P365 for the past 4 years, about equal time with this one and the M-60. #3 is a Sig 1911 RCS .45 ACP...great gun, accurate as all hell, and I shoot it well...really ought to get this one back into the holster more often. Sig 365X. I also have a fine Glock 43, but I don't rotate. It's the Sig I carry until it gives me a reason to switch or all of a sudden I find I can shoot the Glock better. They are both 100% reliable and I don't see why that won't continue
Nothing else that I care to carry unless we get into a SHTF situation where it would be my AR and or my 12 gauge.

1. My Glock 32 in .40 S&W ( OEM Glock 23 barrel)
2. My Glock 32 with the OEM .357SIG Barrel (always like that at the ranch as a backup hog gun, FMJ for that)
3. (possibly/coming soon) My Glock 32 with a 9mm conversion barrel and 5th gen G19 magazines (have put about 500 rounds so far with no failures at all)
......I bought my Glock 32 maybe in 2002-2004, its an early 3rd gen staked front night sight model (that's not special for value, just the earlier 3rd gens were like that)
.....
I did qualify for my CHL 20+ years ago with my SIG P228 (first gun I bought myself) and it was carried a few times.
I personally like the finger groove Glock 19 size so I don't see a reason to upgrade to a later model.
I know I should love optics but I'm not there yet (well on carry pistols).

Ruger LC9S Pro, wonderful trigger for a Striker pistol. Sig Sauer P365, trigger is mushy but does work and 2 more rounds is a plus. Ruger SR1911 Stianless CMD in 45 ACP. In a good holster it's a comfortable carry and capable of stopping a Mastiff or Rot in attack mode. Yeah, I live in an area with some rather sketchy neighbors.
