Actually they did! But only on the original model 67 "no dash" guns, and IIRC on a very few of the first 67-1s. I happen to own an early production (1973) model 67 no dash with the stainless rear sight. I suspect that S&W discontinued the ss sights as the blued sights produce more of a contrast for an easier to pick up sight picture. Not my gun, but shows the ss rear sight: |

| I have a real clean 15 dash 2 and I ran into a mint 67 with stainless sights for 299 at a back woods shop I left with out it but it was still there on Mon so I got it . |
