Well, if it's living wear, I got that covered!
And, the 228 is pretty darn good looking anyway...

Is the Beretta the sexiest? Eh. Para is right, Hollywood sure loves it.
I think more of modded versions. Robocop, Equilibrium, Underworld...

I like a nice 1911, or classic Sig, but when it comes to beauty, the Beretta has them all beat. Maybe it's because I grew up in the late 80s and 90s, but it just looks like a handgun is supposed to look.
The beauty of the Beretta doesn't stop with the looks, though...it actually FEELS beautiful. The slide to fit is like greased ball bearings, and the safety/decocker engages smoothly with a very satisfying "thump". The triggers are also smooth and have a clean rolling break. There's not a hint of grittiness or roughness anywhere in the action on any of mine. It's not just some tarted up cosmetic poser...it actually delivers on the expectation that it visually creates.

I agree, the Beretta 92 is in my top 5 for sure.

SIG P230 for me. Sexiest looking gun ever made, IMO, and it fits nicely in the inside pocket of my walker.

Well someone finally did mention a Python but left out the Combat Masterpiece. Living at almost seven decades what's sexy to me started before many of the guns mentioned here were well known.

Here ya go ACP1 assuming model 15s qualify as combat masterpieces. The 4" is a dash 2 and the 2" a dash 3. Early 60s guns. Machined top strap and back strap. K frames just feel right in the hand. 2" with adjustable sights didn't make much sense to me but had to have it. pls excuse poor pic. IMG_1162 by Tom C, on Flickr

It is tough to make top 5 or top 10 lists, but I do think the Beretta 92 is up there at the top, especially among modern pistols.

The Combat Masterpiece was my USAF duty pistol. A couple of years ago, a small Yoop gun shop had one with the price tag of $280. I passed. What a monumentally stupid decision that was!

Lots of nice guns posted here.
I vote for the Sig P210 Super Target
As a runner up, I'll go with the CZ Custom A01-LD.
I think the monolithic appearance of these two pistols is dead sexy.
They are also capable of the performance to back up their aesthetics.

I see some others did too.

Was playing around with the lights and figured a 92 would make a good test subject.

There is indeed something to be said for the beauty in the mechanical aesthetics of the Beretta 92 series of pistols. I see a great many parallels between mechanical watches and some pistols. Like the mechanical watch, the pistol functions according to principles unchanged for generations and is a mechanical object with which, through use and familiarity, one develops an emotional relationship. Just as a cherished timepiece becomes a vessel for linking the old with the young and the dead with the living, so a fine gun can be another of these secular sacerdotal objects passed down from generation to generation. There is still a certain ancestral chic to shooting a fine pistol like the 92.
And there remains another marvel, such is the level of simplicity and perfection in the manufacture of such guns that they continue to work long after their first owner has departed. The genius within interaction of mechanical components that cause a controlled detonation of the propellant, expelling the projectile from the barrel. In a complex digital world, in which we operate objects without any clear idea of how exactly they function, there is something remarkably reassuring about an analog item made with screws and springs, wood and metal. Yes, I do like Berettas

To my liking, I consider the P230/232 the gold standard for sexiest.
Also, I tend to agree with Q, some 1911s can be pretty sexy!
