Two of my favorite pistols. For years, the P220-9-eu was static in price, nobody cared. I like it better than the P226, and the .45.

The P225, well, once upon a time I loved a P228, then I got my hands on a P225. It looks like that because I carried it, and those grips are sticky. It also has the simple SRT, which belongs in every Sig.

I have meaty mitts, but I guess I'm weird where if I don't have full grip it's not a deal breaker. The P365 means the P225 doesn't have to go out anymore. With that 365 and other modern offerings, you can get grip extensions with the mag so problem solved, if it is one.

Hogue

I was going to give a link, but it seems they only offer "smooth" and "red anodize." Why those are "clear" is because when I got them, they had three choices.. red, white, and blue..

How about Black? Guys?

I like me some AL grips, and couldn't remember, so checked Alumagrips first. Less choices, and less choices at Hogue. Damn shame.

So, if you want those, looks like they are either red, or smooth "white."

The checkered AL grips are discontinued. Frown

What I really want is just their simple rubber grips. I have sweaty hands and love them on my P220s and 4506. AFAIK, Hogue never offer them for the P225.

Pachmayr made a wrap-around rubber grip for the P6/P225.

I do have the Pachmayr grips. The material they use is harder and much less grippy.

At one time, they did make them in black. Here they are on a P6. I think I bought them sometime in 2015.

EDIT: Sorry, rereading your post I see you were talking about aluminum, these are G10, which they still carry on their website.

Hello all, I have not been as active on this site in the last few years. I am so appreciative of all who have ordered my base plates.

I do still have P6/225 bases available.

Feel free to email me at the email in my profile with any questions or to order some.

Thanks

Thank you to Brad, and to Mustang-Pa-Pa for dragging him back in here. Got my P6 mag base plates installed yesterday.
