Hello,

I am getting a P220 in .38Super, but can't get it home for 10 days [California's DROS waiting period].

In the meantime, I am looking into how to 'tune' the action to be the same as my existing P220 and P226.

I currently have the short reach trigger installed in both, as well as the short reset trigger [SRT].

In my searching, I realized that the German-made P220's used a narrower trigger than the US made [or, just more recent] ones.

It seems that the German made ones are 8mm thick, vs 10mm for US made ones.


Is there any source for the short reach triggers for the German-made/8mm factory trigger?

I can only think of two possibilities at the moment.

The earliest of Browning BDA P220s had a trigger that was thinner than what shipped as the P220 trigger from Sig.

GrayGuns claims to make one soon. How soon? You'd have to ask them.
