Looking for a 220 holster. Need advice Login/Join
Good, bad, I'm the

I picked up a NIB Sig P220 40th anniversary pistol about a month ago. I swapped out the threaded barrel for a 220 Combat barrel. This particular 220 has a picatinny rail instead of the usual Sig rail. So basically, my new pistol is like a 220 Combat with a Nitron finish.

I am looking for a right hand, leather OWB belt holster that will fit a picatinny rail. No thumb snaps. Like a Galco Combat Master except higher quality. Does anyone have an recommendations?

Mitch Rosen would be a good candidate for what you're looking for. I carry my p220 in a Mitch Rosen at 3:30 oclock. good solid retention, great draw, comfortable, quiet, 100% quality leather. It's a pancake type design but the side against your body is flat curved by design, the gun is molded to the leather on the outside, so you don't have any pressure points from the gun itself on the leather against your body. There are lots of other holsters like that, particularly from one of our own on this very Forum. I have some of his holsters, they are every bit as good or better than Rosen holsters, and Rosen holsters are already top of the line. Forgive me I don't recall his name, but you should find him in this Forum. I don't know his current status.

Kramer - the most comfortable holsters I have owned and I have had a few. Next would be Garrett.

I suggest going with a snap-detachable pancake style holster such as the Milt Sparks "Axiom", Member Ryan Grizzle's "GS2" (Georgia Special 2), or Member Tim Turner's ("TT Gunleather") "Snap Detachable Pancake." The easy detach/attachment feature is a must-have IMHO!

I have an older Alessi CQC for my 220s.
Ritchie holsters seems to be related to Alessi in some fashion and makes similar items. I have some of their more basic holsters.

Ryan Grizzle, from this forum, made something similar for my 229R that I love.

IIRC GS2 or Georgia Snap 2

I agree with smschulz about Tucker but I would recommend the HF1.
