I have a Custom II. Round count is ~5,000, never had a malfunction of any kind. Extremely accurate, and an awesome trigger.

FWIW, the manual states FMJ only, so that’s what I shoot. I no longer CCW it, but when I did, I had it loaded with FMJ’s. With a quality belt and holster, a 1911 is a great carry gun. I’m just usually wearing gym shorts outside of work.

Shoot it and enjoy!!!

I apologize now...

I have a very early Kimber Custom that I bought new, has Clackamas Oregon on the slide instead of Yonkers NY, and a Pro Carry II I got a few years ago. Neither has ever had a problem.
