Friend has one of the discontinued P229c 9mm pistols. Like a 224 upper on a 229 frame. Uses the 229-1 magazine. He wants to know if he buys a P224 complete slide in 40 will it work on the frame.

I have no idea but told him I would ask the best folks I know for an answer.

OP, good job, I knew Willard would know. Seems He knows everything. I thought it would fit and work other than locking block and of course mags. Now we know.
