| I own a stainless steel Sig 226 in 9mm. It isn't special but I carry it in the cooler months. I had the trigger worked on by Sig and it is very good. I have started attending classes again and it is my training pistol as well. |

The last P226 in the U.S. to use the Sport Stock frame was the P226 SL sold by Afton Arms in the early 2010s. It was the exact same configuration as your model but its slide was German too and it was assembled in Germany.
The P226 Sport also used this frame, but it had that old proprietary rail cut into it to accept the match weight.
Thanks for the info., MacGyver. I didn't realize the Sport Stock has a bull barrel. Anyone who owns an all German Sport Stock has something special.
