Was lucky to find one of these rare bird last week to join my other Swiss old SIG ladies. According to some reference books, only about 200 of these 210-6S (and 200 of 210-5-LS) Heavy Frames with lateral magazine release were made from 2003 until 2005 , when the production of P210s in Neuhausen, Switzerland was concluded.

It sure is not leaving anytime soon. "Never say never".......but this one would be as close to 'NEVER" as it gets That being said, just 2 weeks ago I thought I would never sell this 50th anniversary that I shared here. Yesterday I got offered a mint P210-5 "Heavy Frame" (so this 50th Anniversary is now on the chopping block & in the Classifieds) https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...0601935/m/7840093344 This message has been edited. I already did. Took it to the range three times since I had it for about a week. I have several p210 pistols but the trigger on this one is super light. I have to get used to it actually

One P210-6S just sold today for a just over $9k! Incredible. I did not think it would go that high, but it did. I appeared a bidding war went on, there. The P210-5LS for $9k, I could understand, but not the P210-6S. Q

Man the Heavy Frames are so special. That thing begs to be shot. If I owned such a fine pistol, I would tailor special loads just for target.

I agree...I did not expect $9 either.....OTOH I am not totally shocked: - the cheapest 210-5LS that I have seen going back to late last year is $17K - together with 210-5LS: only 200 of each made - you do not see 6S being offered that frequently so when it is, guys with thick wallets will swing their bats.

To me the grouping of P210 test target is almost irrelevant. Shooting is done in a ransom rest. I will 'never' in my life shot as accurately anyway (or even remotely close to it) so if we are talking about a test target that is supposed to be present with a 'collector grade' pistol - as long as it is there, that's all I care about.

When I bought it it showed some gentle handling marks. Not sure if it was fired or not. At this point it does not matter - I took it to the range 3 times just within the last week.

That's awesome. A pistol like that is just begging to be shot, not sitting in a safe collecting dust!
