I see on the NAA website that the wallet holster has been discontinued, as having the pistolino in it makes it an NFA item.

Well, surprise, surprise! Both the .22 LR and the .22 Mag models are on the CA DOJ roster [spit].
An interchangeable .22 LR cylinder and folding grip holster are available from the NAA website.
Hmmm...I've got my interview for my CCW finally coming up next month.

We're all waiting for Judge Benitez' rulings to make their way through the 9th Circuit up to SCOTUS. Cali Commie Govt is deliberately flaunting SCOTUS rulings and will probably not give up short of US Army occupying Sacramento.

I like my ranger with the breakforward.

I wonder how one of these would do with shot on a snake.

If it would work well close up it would be even fill more of a practical role.

I personally have a G29 for woods and wouldn’t really have an answer for snake shot with an auto.

It seems like .22 shot wouldn’t be super effective on a close up snake, but I’d be interested to see or hear of any results.

Wait, what? Was that chrono data from those pistols?

They are cool though.

1650 fps and 1080 fps are the stated velocities for CCI Short Range, Lead Free 21 gr. (.22 LR) & CCI CPRN 29 gr. (.22 short) respectively.

Love these little revolvers.
I have the Companion Cap & Ball.
Haven’t shot it yet.

It was reported in the gun magazines many years ago, that it worked just fine with 1gr Bullseye (smokeless).

I’ll stick to 777 when I do shoot it this coming summer.

I would like to get the break top model.

I imagine those figures are from a rifle-length barrel.

I’m going to stuff a box with newspapers and see what the penetration of each is.

Based on the archive data from the Ballistics By The Inch website, you're spot-on. A sub-2" barrel would lead to a muzzle velocity somewhere south of 800fps based on their numbers. When I read those quoted CCI numbers I just had to look it up proper-like.

They do work on snakes with shot shells. That being said, .22 mag shot shells work even better. Much better.
