Yeah, and you said you’re gonna “swap the X-Compact slide for the equivalent plain subcompact slide.” Not sure I understand why, with whom, whatever. If you don’t plan on using an optic just keep the cover plate on. Why go about sourcing another slide?

As for sizes, I carry a P320 Carry all the time. So I don’t see the need for anything smaller. But you’re not me. I do think it’s silly to worry about how far your light sticks out. I have big hands and don’t like light controls jutting into the trigger guard area. You should see how far forward my SP2022’s light is.
