The locking lugs on P226 and P229 barrels are different.
“ One may protest against evil; it can be exposed and, if need be, prevented by use of force. … Against stupidity we are defenseless. … [R]easons fall on deaf ears; facts that contradict one's prejudgment simply need not be believed … and when facts are irrefutable they are just pushed aside ….” — Dietrich Bonhoeffer

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Democracy is 2 Wolves & a Lamb debating the lunch menu.
Consider a Glock 22, a Desert Eagle, or a P220 if you are want a LEGO set with bullets.
The G22 can be swapped into at least five calibers and carbines. The DE is compatible with six of them and have four barrel lengths to choose from. P220s are available in more than six varieties, chasing down some is quite the task, but worthwhile.
Good luck!
