Interested if anyone does their P220,226,229 or Beretta grip panels like the glock guys do? Figured I might try it on a new 92, since I usually buy golfball pattern g10 anyway. A Perpetual Disappointment...

Can't think of why it wouldn't work. Haven't tried as all of mine are aluminum grips. Let us know how it works out.

I did it to my 229, works just fine. I eventually replaced them with some hogue g10’s but it was easy and the risk was really minimal

I've done several, the upside being they're cheap enough that you can experiment with different textures. And if you want to sell the gun, just buy an new set and put them on. _____________________________________________________ Sliced bread, the greatest thing since the 1911.

Thanks. That was pretty much my thinking as well. Anybody got a recommendation for a soldering iron to use. I don't do electronics, so have never needed one previously. A Perpetual Disappointment...

Just go get a wood burning kit from Lowe’s or Walmart etc. it will come with a bunch of different tips that you can use for different looks, watch some YouTube videos on it too and you’ll be good to go
