Yall ignore me realizing that I cocked the hammer before holstering. At least my trigger discipline was there. Recoil was more than manageable, these were hornady leverevolution rounds. Not the hottest, but also not pet reloads.

OP: Found out I won this this morning. $600

NM Blackhawk Bisley 44mag

I did two lowball bids on two Inglis clones, to my great surprise I won both, less than $500 for both. I haven’t bid since.

Nice grab - doubles as a boat anchor when needed as well.

I recently did the same and came home with a 95% condition Ithaca DS Police Special parkerized shotgun. Price was too low to pass up.

Definitely used, but not abused. I’ll clean it up tomorrow and shoot it before sending the grip frame off to Chigs.

With older-style single-actions, people were known to carry IWB holsterless (but more likely cross-draw) by flipping the loading gate out to keep the gun from slipping down. (Not for very far or long.) That won't work on this one, however, as opening the loading gate frees up the cylinder to rotate.

Very nice. Ruger makes some good revolvers. If you would have gotten one with a longer barrel they could have spelled out Incorporated and Connecticut. All that information on the barrel detracts from the appearance IMHO.

I've been down this road myself recently. I put in a minimum bid on a S&W 1066 about two months ago thinking I would surely be outbid. Surprise, time to pay up!

When I first picked it up, I was a little disappointed. There was a lot of wear on the finish.

But after a little research and TLC, it has cleaned up very nicely. Not as nice as my pristine 1076s, but still a great addition to my 10mm obsession.
