I have used Wipe Out, Gunslick and Break Free foam bore cleaners and have not seen a big difference in cleaning. These foam bore cleaners have been out for over 25 years.

Wipe out seems to be the preferred leader because they also have Patch Out.

Below is a bore scope photo of a brand new Savage buttoned rifled bore. And it would eat copper bore brushes and give you a false reading of copper if brushed. And why a brush-less foam bore cleaner can't be beat.

I have kept foaming bore cleaners for years, but only use them on occasion. I don't remember which one I currently have in inventory. They seem to do o.k. for me, but I don't use them on a regular basis, as I don't see any big advantage over my normal procedures.
