I too have a P230SL. One of the last pistols I would ever get rid of. I used to carry a lot but is now relegated to church or other special events in a nice Ritchie Leather Ankle Holster.

I think this would have been a nice upgrade for Bond from the walther PPK

Don't you find the P230SL a bit heavy for ankle carry?

I had to figure out how to host and post pix - let's try this to see if you can see the pix. I saw a pix of another one I think 10 numbers off of mine.

I have one of the Japanese contract .32 ACP P230’s. It’s a pleasure to shoot compared to the .380, which is quite snappy in recoil.

Hey everyone, I’m new to the forum and just picked up a really nice Sig P230SL but it’s double action only with no deCocker. I haven’t seen much info on the DAO versions. Anybody know about how many were made they seem more scarce. Great info here.!

Tony

Posted a link above to my pix of the DAO model. Yes if anybody has one similar or knows more about them like how big the run was I would be interested in knowing I’ve not seen any others in the wild at least or for sale anywhere.
