Typically m11’s come with 8 rear and 6 fronts. What would changing the front to an 8 do. Would it give a 6 o’clock hold

I never understood why the M11-A1 comes with #6 front/#8 rear when P228s, M11s, and most P229s & P229-1s in 9mm come with #8 front & rear.

None of my 9mm 229's had 8/8 sights. 6/8 and 6/6 is what I have. The 228 slide I had came with 6/8 also. The 229 .40 I have has 8/10 on it. Started with 8/8 but it was way low. My 220 .45 came with 8/8 sights. Only 9mm I have that came with 8/8 is my 226 Legion.

I had a email exchange with a sig manager. He told me that the 8/6 combo would give a combat hold. Would an 8/8 combo give me a closer to 6 o’clock hold?

What is the opinion of using siglite sights vs tough trijicons Which do you see better?

Sights are different for some. I don't see white dots or green dots very well. On my M11-A1 I use Trijicon HD XR sights with an orange dot and u notch rear. Same on my Legion. My P220 has XS RAM sights with an orange dot. ![]()

No one has a preference between trijicon three dot with white circles or the siglites?
