maxwayneMy 70 Series Gold Cup. I have had it for over 40 years. I had CCR put their CPII finish on the frame.

Orive 8Don't shoot .45 ACP anymore, if I could only have one .45 it would be a Glock 30S or a Glock 37 in .45 GAP, depending on what I would need the gun for.

bcjwriterI guess the only 1911 I have, a Colt Combat Commander XSE Stainless. Bought it new 10 years ago.

Otherwise, an upper-mid-tier Series 70 Commander 1911, like my Dan Wesson Valor.
Holy crap, that’s a beautiful gun.

I'd probably also invest the time to have it fitted with ramped barrels and a .38Super ejector, so I could then have it become the basis of a multi-caliber handgun: .40, .357sig, .38Super, 9mm and a .22lr conversion kit- in addition to the .45acp.
Is this cheating???
Not at all

divilPresently I have zero.
But to participate, a series 80 Colt Government model.

jer830As it turns out I’m down to one, a Colt Combat Elite Commander. I’m downsizing my guns and I’m down to a few hundred rounds of .45 ACP. I’ve sold my brass and dies, so when I shoot all my remaining .45 ammo I’ll sell the gun.
Dating back to the late 70’s to recently, I’ve owned Colt Governments, Gold Cups, some Commanders, Glock 21’s, USP’s and an HK45, a couple Springfield Armory’s, some P220’s and even a S&W JM625.
Funny thing, out of all those guns, with the exception of a Colt Government and a couple P220’s, I never carried them and they were all mostly range range toys.

ACP1I really like the 45 so I have a Colt and a Wilson Combat and a Nighthawk and an HK and a Sig. But if I had to take only one it would be my Cajunized CZ 97.

Out of my nine 45's, The P90 would have probably been my 2nd choice. I actually prefer shooting it over my P220. It's such an under appreciated pistol.
