Because they’re horribly ugly, and unnecessary, IMHO. The problem is, if I get a 19x, I have to get it ceracoated, and it has the hook or whatever at the bottom of the grip.

Go ahead punk, make my day |
<it's a hard knock life, for you, it's a hard knock life, for you!> Personally, I don't care - it's a Glock, already ugly as hell.

Still finding my way |
You care about the appearance of a glock so much that you'd spend hundreds of dollars to make it different? Why, to impress your friends? I actually think the front serrations add to the looks and are quite useful when doing a press check.

I stopped doing show and tell some time around the first grade. Does it go bang each time? Is it accurate? Is it consistent? Glocks are compromises on a lot of levels, but they do tend to work. How it looks doesn't matter much to me. I don't really like the look of my G43X and G48, with the silver slide, but they go bang and they keep going bang, and they're thin and if anone ends up in front of them, I don't care whether they like the color, either. That said, I don't much care for the look of my G19X. The shorter slide with full length grip looks goofy to me. The full size grip is a big plus for hanging onto the pistol, however, and the shorter slide is a plus if one is holstered and sitting. The brown color isn't particularly attractive, but again, how it looks isn't really what's important. It has yet to not go bang. It also doesn't bounce brass between my eyes like my other G19's. I might pick up a G45 at some point, but don't really have a use for the time being. Personally, if I'm going to have the added grip length, I'd rather have a bit more slide, barrel, and sight radius out there, too.
