Seeing if anyone has used their M&P mags, especially the 30 round or larger ones? If so, any issues?

Thought it might be a way to get something comparable to a Glock fun stick that would work for their M&P FPC without being hugely expensive, especially compared to their OEM 23 round mags.

Thanks in advance!

Never used the M&P ones.

I have maybe a dozen Glock ones. Purchased secondhand in one big lot on a forum (perhaps this one). Despite all of the negative talk, I've never had any issues with them and I have used them quite a bit (a few thousand rounds). I read similar negative things about the Magpul Glock mags but they have been solid for me as well so maybe I just get the good ones.

I also have three ETS MP-5 mags that came with my PTR clone. Those were a little disappointing because they fit impossibly tight in two of my three MP-5 clones.

I found a review by Paramount Tactical on youtube that had problems with the ETS mags in an FPC. Here is a link, he discuses the mag problem at the 16:40 mark.

I bought one out of curiosity, it was unreliable junk. Don’t waste your money.

I have three of the Glock mags - one G19 mag and two of their 40d mags. Supposedly, they’re total shit, but mine have worked fine. They do have a lifetime warranty on their mags, so if they break or stop working, just send them in until you get a good one. I’ve never had to use the warranty. Planning to order a couple of the 40rd Scorpion mags to try out soon, maybe if they do a decent Black Friday sale.

They are truly awful.

The top of the magazine contacts the trigger bar.

The m&p trigger bar disconnects the sear by being pushed outboard by the slide whe it moves. The front corner of the ets mag for the m&p contacts the trigger bar As it starts to move rearward when the trigger is pulled. It will occasionally cause a dead trigger.

I sent them an email.about it a few years ago with pictures and nobody seemed to care

Glock and HK MP5 mags I've used, or rather tried to have used, were absolute garbage. I tried flipping them at a gun show on the table for $3 each/$5 for two and ended up dragging them all home for the next show. I'll likely just throw them away before bringing further embarrassment to my table.

Lots of great replies, thanks all. Will save my money for more of the OEM ones.
