You know, the more I look at those huge pics (thanks, DanH) with my G45 stripped down, the more I'm thinking there's a serialized chassis under there. There's a lot going on there that has no reason to exist otherwise, and too much from the traditional arrangement that's missing.

There is some extra build up that can be seen right above the takedown lever. The only other thing I can think of is that they've beefed up the locking block area a lot.

Speaking of the modular bit, these pictures have the serial number on the slide and barrel, but not the frame. If it's under the light rail, that's a pretty huge FCU Glock is using.

Hmmm.... Grip texture might be a tad aggressive for me. I will have to fondle it to find out. But I am definitely interested.

Well, it's real. According to TFBTV the embargo was supposed to be Dec 8th. Love the new optic system AND how Glock was nice enough to include the optic spacer plates in the box. *coughfuckstaccato* I'll never be kosher with the Glock hump, but with the extra work done on the grip, trigger guard, and beavertail, I could probably buy this over a Shadow Systems.

Also like how the price will be the same as a Gen 5 MOS and be available around Jan 20th unless something else goes wrong.

I didn’t say it’s not modular, I’m saying it doesn’t “look” modular. As for the two dingi I think that’s a crappy photo/photoshop/ai rendition issue rather than two dingus’.

I know nothing about this gun other than what you guys have said and those massive photos. (Sorry had too lol)

My gas pedal comment wasn’t an admonition that we can’t say gas pedal it was a joke that if that idiot gas pedal guy never comments in this forum again it will be too soon. (my humor isn’t for everyone lol)

If the bottom of the grip is replaceable I’m hoping someone can come out with an aftermarket grip to fix the angle.

Hmmmm…

I gotta grab one in my own paws before I make any serious judgement.

I like the grip- looks like a more aggressive RTF-2 frame. Digging the undercut trigger guard!

Looking at the original statement from Glock, I was worried about “Optics ready”, and what models would/wouldn't have them. Looks like they all have the cut.

Flat trigger- here’s where yous yell and throw things at me- Im “meh” about flat triggers. They never really did anything for me. I’m fine with a curved trigger!
Let’s see if Glock tossed in the GPT!

Which brings me to the firing mechanism- did they toss the “Gen V super enhancements that will never allow this to be full auto (for at least a week)”? Is it something different?

The beavertail- eehhh… I don’t know- I would rather have the option with the interchangeable grips than have a dedicated one.

The Flange (I really don’t want to say “gas pedal”, because that kid who was a shill for his daddy’s bullshit company can go blow a goat in public)- I don’t see much of anything. Maybe it’s the angle or the way it’s textured on that spot.
So if it is a larger flange, how is that going to affect holster compatibility?!?!
If I got to get a whole new set of holsters, Im gonna “Nope” right out on these Gen-6’s.
**** DISREGARD! **** DanH’s video just explained the flange!

But so far, it looks promising!

The ruger RXM is the solution. I'm actually surprised that there aren't a half dozen aftermarket grip modules out for it already.

I have an RXM but find the grip a little too slick. I have some hockey grip tape on the way to rectify that. Other than that I love the RXM.

I’m definitely interested in this new Glock though.

Right there with you brother. It’s not that I hate flat triggers or anything but I prefer curved.

Looks like I was wrong. I read that the grip was interchangeable but looks like it is not.

It’s interchangeable in the aspect of putting a 17 slide on a 19 frame or putting the 19 slide on a 17 frame.

Correct. I saw reports, though, that said the bottom part of the grip was a separate piece that could be swapped out. The way Glock did it makes more sense.
