I hope shooting tests are at great enough range to show a difference, if any. "One ragged hole at 7 yards" as I saw for a new gun earlier today just does not tell me much. I am not a 50 yard X ring shooter, but I expect a high end gun to at least give me a chance at it.

Quibble: "...the American style mag release..."
OK, somebody tell me what American pistol had a side button magazine catch before the 1900 GERMAN Luger.

Another one of the rare times I can say, "most original title ever!" Just stunning handguns. Thanks for making my day.

Thank you for the excellent write up and outstanding photo's. Although I've not handled the P210, I always admire it from a distance. Your Sig collection must be one of a kind. Smile

I am very interested in the American P210. The only reason I have not bought one is the lack of an ambidextrous safety. Has any one heard if or when Sig plans to release a target P210 with an ambidextrous safety?
Thanks for any replies.

I think that you're going to have a long wait. In the meantime, get an X5!

I already have an X5 All Around and a P220 Stainless Match Elite. I have always wanted a P210. I guest I will either have to wait or see if anyone makes an aftermarket ambidextrous safety.

I also swore that I was going to wait until at least January to buy one, but this is tempting me!
