Heck yeah. Love my 75 Compact. I also have a 75 Police and a Kadet 2 kit with a few mags. I've probably never chased the PCR or P-01 because early on I obtained a Canik C-100. I did see a PCR recently for a decent price. when I looked again it was gone. that's the rule if you sleep on it you will probably save more money. enjoy, I would definitely carry a PCR if I got one.

Great weapon, you’ll enjoy your time with it.

I put a set of these on mine and I like the feel.

I recommend this to any first time gun buyer I encounter.

The kadet conversion might have to be my next purchase once I replenish funds.
Hows the reliability on them?

I had the Kadet conversion on one of my PCR’s fitted at CGW, so very reliable. Great piece.
Definitely do the Kadet next. After that consider the P-01 for your nightstand piece. Essentially the exact same gun as the PCR, but with the ability to add on a light, and so not nearly as clean or refined looking and feeling as the PCR. You will of course need to send the barrel off to Tornado Technologies to be threaded as your nightstand gun.
And all of those PCR’s just have to go to CGW. Expensive and time consuming, but these become classic and practical pieces that I think rival more expensive guns.

Great. This is going to cost me. Just looked and the going price seems to be around $700! I was hoping closer to $500.

Is there a gen 1 and gen 2? Some look a little different and some have 14 rd mags and some have 15 rd mags.

I bought one of their competition pistols and was so impressed bought several more in a very short time. I will put them up against ANY pistol costing 2x much.

I have a range friend who has some CZ's of their competition line and they are impressive. I have a 97, a 75 BD and the PCR all have been through CGW but the CZ pro-shop pistols are something special. This friend has a little over 1K in each of the guns but they are dead nuts accurate and totally reliable.

My PCR came from CZC with a trigger job. It actually was never as good as I thought I paid for it. Fast forward 15 years I stripped it of all the CZC stuff and did a full blown Cajun makeover. Love this gun now. You did good.

Not sure if theres 2 generations of the gun but it seems like the newer guns come with 15rnd mags like mine.

I actually buy my CGW stuff from dealers OTHER THAN CGW. They sent me an order that got lost by Fed Ex and they were horrible to work with. They were so unhelpful (they literally said "just give it two weeks and see if it shows up") that I ended up contesting the charge from my CC. Of course they tried to still get their money from the CC so I had to fight it several times to finally get a credit as I never received the order.

Kadet are so good I bought a spare. FYI, if the roll pin that holds the barrel in the slide breaks you can use a firing pin roll pin cut to the proper length if everybody is out of stock.

My two are as reliable as any 22 can be. You have to use a slightly heavier mainspring than you can get away with if you just are shooting centerfire. Don’t quote me but I think it’s 13-15 lbs. I don’t recall anymore.

My PCR was "Cajunized" by Cajun Gunworks with the "Defensive Pistol Package". It takes a good pistol and makes it awesome! The trigger is incredible and in SA, it's every bit as good as my high dollar 1911s by Nighthawk Custom. I'm not sure if the "Defensive Pistol Package" is still offered, as it's no longer on their list of services, but I'd still ask about it here: https://cajungunworks.com/installation/

Yes they do but it is very easy to “fit”. It’s not like fitting a barrel or anything it’s wicked easy. Just confirm the right place before you file. It’s easy easy.

As pedropcola said, it's very easy to fit yourself and once I fit it to the PCR, it also fits nicely on the other CZ 75s, including the Compact P-01. Here it is on my SP-01.

Dawson Precision sights as best that I can recall.
