I've been shooting 30+ years but never made it around to CZs. Just picked up a PCR and am loving this gun. It's like a g19 but with some class. Feels amazing in the hand and so soft shooting.
All it was lacking was a holster so I threw together some leather and now might a new favorite daily carry.
Anyone else get the CZ bug?

Awesome,
the PCR is a great compact CZ! I had one, and foolishly sold it.

Not a bad choice for your first CZ pistola amc!

I have been selling/trading off my gun collection of late. If I do not love it and or shoot it often the firearm is gonzo. My PCR is still and will stay with me until the end.

Adding some LOK grips to it will enhance the hand to grip awesome feeling even more.

Here is mine.

Nice grips I'll have to look into a pair. Are they thicker or thinner than the stock rubber?

I got bit by the CZ bug many years ago.
I grew up reading Mac Bolans and SOF, and they always managed to sneak in a CZ-75 here and there.

The 75 was my the first SA/DA I bought.

A few months back I was at the Defense Logistics Facility down the road from Fort Lee, VA to get a new military ID.

I was killing time and stopped in the local outdoor store. After looking at hats and fishing gear I waddled over to the gun counter.

I had a CZ-75 Compact in the past but traded it in for a Sig 228 (which was my first Sig).

I had read about the PCR, and CZ-85 in the past but never had a chance to buy one.

After examining the PCR, I am hooked.
Once I get back to work and my resources squared away, I want to purchase a PCR and a Sig 2002.

Current EDC is a CZ P-07. Also very G19 like.

PCR fan here. I sent mine to Cajun Gun Works for a trigger job, grips and some bling. Great pistol for sure.

One of the reasons I went with the LOK grips over some of the others was fit and you can get 9 different grip textures. Mine are the RIDGEBACKS and although not the most aggressive they are certainly not their smoothest.

They make these to order, did not have to wait long for mine. They make them in Thin, Standard and Palm swell. I went with the standard and think they are perfect for me. The Palm swell is very similar size wise to the rubber oem grips according to their website.

I have 8 or 10 Berettas that have been tuned by Ernest Langdon and some Sigs worked over by Robert Burke, the CZ's by CGW are just as fantastic...just a pleasure to shoot. I finally broke down an ordered a carry holster for the PCR.

Recently got my 3rd PCR. Superb pistols and the LOK grips transform it to a higher plane.

I had a PCR and it was a great feeling handgun for sure. It was heavy, but I guess I've been spoiled by all the plastic on the market nowdays.

Love my PCR as well! Feels awesome in hand and balances so well. Mine is as accurate as anything I’ve ever shot. Build quality in terms of fit and finish is outstanding for the price point.

Here’s mine with some LOK grips.

I got one of those and it is just a CZ 75 Compact. Why do you call it a "PCR"? I bought it just because it was available, taking it to the range on Friday.

The CZ 75B Compact and PCR are two different pistols.
The PCR has different internals and an aluminum frame with decocker instead of the safety.

Someone correct me if I'm mistaken but I think the PCR is an anodized frame and the compact is steel. Dimensions are the same I think. Forgot about the decocker feature....Ryanp is correct.

I picked up a Compact a couple of years ago. A nice pistol but I would gladly trade it for the PCR I sold.

PCR = Police Czech Republic

My favorite CZ. I had one but sold it (don't ask). The P-07, later the P-01 that I replaced it with are 100% reliable, but don't "tickle me pink" like that one did. The P-01 also gouged my trigger finger so badly that it left a flap of skin hanging and stung for days afterwards. I spent extra money at CGW getting a different-shaped trigger and some light action work, taking it out of the "bargain" category.
