I had a P229 Legion a couple of years ago and needed some fundage for a few custom fishing rods and sold it. Regretted it ever since. This came up on my local Armslist for trade and I jumped. I had to part with my Sig Ultra 1911 in 9mm for it, but I never really warmed up to the Ultra. Too big to carry for the capacity it gave and too low of capacity when it carried like my M11-A1. Snatched this beauty up with everything it left the factory with. Round count was 275. Reset is fregging insane!

Congrats! I've had the opportunity to put a few rounds through a SAO Legion P226, it was almost like cheating. Enjoy the new (to you) gun.

Thanks. I have a marksman class I’m taking tomorrow with my Glock 43, but when I’m finished, I’m going to break it in!

I was looking at the part number on front sight TG H3. Same number I have on my SCT models but are fiber optic. I like the look of the one on yours.

Beneath all the beauty still lies the bark of the P226. SAO just sweetens the deal. No matter the switches, Mauser rifle extractor and all, it's still the P226, refined. Great looking pistol.

Not this time. I promise! I’ve got my sights set on a Sig 1911 in 10mm next, but after that it’s a P229 Legion SAO.

I carried my M11-A1 for about 3 years before I went to the Glock 43. When I land a P229 Legion SAO, I will have Ryan make me another rig. I am dying to get one.
Thanks. iPhone X and 1800-1900 sun makes for some killer gun picts.

After sending mine back to Sig mine is great! Initially the safety lever would move out of position after racking the slide. It moved just enough to drop the hammer when pulling the trigger . "You can take your pistol and stick it so far up your ass, the muzzle of it is visible when you cough."

After several thousand rounds my Legion p226 SAO is definitely the best shooting pistol I own. Holding my breath for a Legion p220 carry SAO CMSGT USAF (Retired) Chief of Police (Retired)

I hate Califonia... Legion is not CA compliant Your pictures make me want to move somewhere else ASAP lol. Now I really regret not getting a black 226, but rather a Scorpion. As of today, I still don't have an all black pistol

The finish on your Legion looks quite darker than what I have seen on others here and in person. Looks to be very good quality.
