Maybe the problem is, he doesn't upgrade enough! If only he felt the need to upgrade every part on his gun more often, his 50,000 round diet (of almost certainly reloaded ammo -- reloaded with the same level of care and attention to detail? Confused) might not have left his gun halfway between unsafe and inoperable.

So put on a lighter slide, complain the gun is "snappy" and fix it by putting in a heavy guide rod, then don't maintain the recoil spring on the "snappy" gun.
