Hellcats are Great little pistols. Both of mine are the optics version. Buy the Holosun if you can find one. Nice big dot on the front site you can see even if the optic is off. The magazines are a little stiff but not too stiff for a man with normal hands to load. I can see where a lady with weak hands or someone with arthritis might have an issue. My triggers were slightly stiff with a side load. That took about 45 seconds with a file to smooth out. Not bad trigger after that. Both of mine have been 100% reliable with ball and Federal HST ammo. Small pistols obviously won't shoot well as easily as a full size but the Hellcats do quite well for such a small pistol. Lots of good holsters are available. Highly Recommended! Remember, this is all supposed to be for fun...................

Make America Great Again |
I played with a stock Hellcat side-by-side with a base P365 a few weeks ago. Compared the overall feel, the sights (Hellcat was superior here), and trigger... plus overall build quality. I went home with the P365 plus three 12-round mags. Yes, the Hellcat was tempting, but the P365's trigger and build quality (plus I'm mostly a Sig snob) won me over. To each their own though. Isn't it wonderful to have options? _____________________________ Bill R. North Alabama

I'm greedy-I bought both. The 365 SAS is a great pocket gun, when needed. The Hellcat with optic is a great IWB choice. NOTE-If you register with Springfield (warranty,) you get a coupon for their online store. The coupon brought the cost of spare mags down to 21 bucks each, so I got 6. Probably too many, but to me mags are like ammo, you can't have too much.
