Blume9mmP226 MK25
As y'all may have noted in some of my post... after proving that a gun is top of the line functional the next thing on my list is looks... I know that is not what some folks look for but for me it is important.... and of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder.... My Mk-25 (previous page) came with the ugliest beige plastic grips on the planet... I would have replaced them even if they weren't too fat... I like the look of the pistol with the Hogue G10s with the Sig logo ... and yes the matching desert tan Crimson Trace Laser is probably a tad too much.... But it is a BBQ gun...

What's the number(or whatever) to identify the aluminum grips?
Hogue's offerings:

Dougw1515Thanks... I'm trying to find out "who's" grips they're talking about. I reckon either one would be OK but....

Last I checked, SIG uses Hogue aluminum grips, could be wrong...

BB61I wouldn't worry about your first gun being DA/SA. My first was a W. German SIG P228, the compact version of the P226. You might as well start with one 9f the best guns available today.
