So is it possible this 43X and G19SS (SingleStack) would share the same new design mag??? Pure thinking out loud on my part. DOUG Military Police = MP = Mike Papa

I hear it’s going to have primer drag marks from the striker

Yeah, somehow Glock seems to have their $hit wired tight when it comes to making handguns. Sure, there are haters and of course not every gun works for every person. But as a whole them seem to be good at slinging polymer framed handguns around the globe. Interested to see if they have something new and it will see if it's something I want.

That’s only .6 inches longer than the current 43. So that’s basically the 365 with the 12 round mag right? That’s a competitor to the 365 imo. I’d be tempted. I thought it was going to be much longer until I did the conversion of mm to inches. I think the 43 is a little too thin so a little extra width in the grip would be great.

Yeah I agree with you. And everyone with these lil pistols gets a pinky extension or a +1 for the magazine. We'll see if it has primer swipes or a rash of broken striker tips. Odds anyone?

Well Gaston must've really needed the subsequent cash flow to bolster his next genetic line of show horses... 'Stupid Glock' still fits to me. Pitting yourself against yourself while brushing off the rest of the market isn't what I call intelligence. What do I mean? Well people who want .380s (and have been yelling at Glock for decades to provide exactly that) will have definitely shopped the G42. People who believe in nine-mike-mike will shop that, though perhaps...maybe...grudgingly...buy something they don't otherwise want. Which in hindsight more that a few did though I certainly didn't join them. But I only have to think of all of those previously nonexistent up-capacity G43s I could've sold to people who instead wound up choosing a XDS, Shield, PPS M2 or even a Taurus rather than live with six rounds in a Glock (yes, most shoppers don't think of and visualize about the one that should additionally go in the chamber). Glock showing themselves as being late AND arrogant to the game, because we're Glock and we say that you only need six+one to take care of business. Even if there's three of them all packing vs one of you. Because your G43 is The Great Equalizer. Except now those others have found joy and faith with other brands. The Shield guy genuinely thinks "M&P9 2.0" when he wants to upsize; the G19 is now the afterthought. Definitely 'Stupid Glock'.

Funny, I bet if you look at your portfolio and Gastons...

I'm game. Just sold my P365 and don't plan on going back anytime soon. If this all ends up being true, I hope they will go the route of the Gen 5's and ditch the grooved trigger.

Big Stack |
Glock could have addressed this very easily and quickly be releasing factory 7, 8, and maybe 10 round magazines. They could probably do a 7 rounder that's no longer than the existing 6 rounder. But now they'll get people to buy a complete other gun just to get more capacity.

First off - I’m glad they’re coming out with this - and glad I waited on the P365. Glocks have a far better track record with their mini 9’s. I carry mine daily and when this comes out I’ll keep my old gun and buy one of these - then retire my Shield. You can complain all you want but Glock has a good reputation and track record.
