Did some horse trading and came away with a brand new HK VP9F. I like the new improvements. (no finger grooves, updated trigger bar, flared mag well, textured controls, .50" longer barrel and of course optic ready slide). I have a Holosun SDS-VP9-GR optic ordered for it. It is a direct fit with no plate. Early serial number too!

Very nice. My early VP9 has been a great shooter for me, so some time ago I added a VP9L. The lightening cuts are a bit much but it's been a wonderful pistol so far. The new VP9A1 K seems rather intriguing to me, considering how much I've liked my larger VP9s. I might consider that one as my 9mm carry instead of simply reverting back to a G19 once I finally retire my G23 and .40S&W.

I did handle the K version, but my pinky finger landed right on the seam between the mag and the grip. I was afraid it would end up pinching my finger, so I went with the F. Big Grin

I love my A1 F. I’ve installed tall tritium sights and a Trijicon rmr. It has a Surefire X-300U, as well, so it’s pretty decked out now.

The K is awesome. The P2000 was the last HK compact we got. The K uses the same magazine body, but they’ve increased the capacity to fifteen rounds now. I love mine. It will probably get the rmr treatment down the road. For now, an upgraded tritium rear sight will do.

I would love to see a “T” model with the updated A1 features.

Congrats, nice looking pistol. I am glad they changed the trigger guard's interior and removed that trough. I bought a VP9L-B because of it.

I handled one recently. I have to say I actually miss the finger grooves (which is very unusual for me) but it’s overwhelmingly cool otherwise. The guy at my LGS also showed me that it comes with the cardboard box and zippered soft case like the CC9. I plan on picking up both the K and the F.

First shots today. I tweaked the sights a bit after this session. Should be better centered next trip. Ran awesome even shooting weak 115 ammo.

Nice shooting. I just put an rmr on mine and a Holosun on the CC9. I need to get out this week and sight them in.

At a local gun show Saturday, a dealer had the VP9A1 for a great price. I tried to work a trade, but could not come to terms. I settled for buying three 17 round mags, with a pouch, for my VP9 for $69 out the door.
