Thanks for all the advice and opinions. For now I think I will stick with the P365 and just traon more. I like how easy it is to conceal, and I can have 12 rounds in each mag. I wouldn’t mind getting one of the more premium p228, p229 variants, but the price point is a little more than I can spend at this time. My other pistols are Shield 2.0 chambered in .45 ACP and a Glock 45.

ihbwotrrI agree with choice of Sig 228 and Glock 19.
Some choose Beretta 92X Compact.

Rick LeeI have both the P365 and P365XL. Can I use the same 12 rd mags from the P365 with the XL by just getting the flat floor plates?

Because of the grip and the compensator there is little snap. That is a more expensive fix. I love my P series pistols, but if you wish to get hammer fired pistol, the Sig 2022 or SIGPro, is a less snappy, reasonably priced alternative than the various P series pistols.
I concur, when you consider how close the p228 and sig pro are in size and weight and that the 228 is going to be harder to find I would be on the lookout for those as well. I could carry my sp2022 daily easily iwb.
