I suppose that I've had three years to refine/redefine my answer...yet no question about it, it remains the MPX that I spewed about back on page 2. That one is the SIG of any type I've shot the most in the last three years. And unequivocally loved doing every time out. Damn if it won't be The Fav right up to moment I'm forced to file a Form 1 when those evil doers stipulate that braces are anything but and it ceases being a pistol.
My SIG that has seen the second most number of rounds in the last three years has been with my pair of P365s, but I'd hardly call them a favorite. More like used and trained with out of necessity. All the rest are near equally likeable but don't stand out, plus they get used less and less these days though I've become rather partial to the 320 X5 Legion if using round counts as a metric, I guess.

I love my P226 Mk25 with Sig's aluminum grips -- they make a huge difference for my Med - Med/Large hands. A P226 was my first ever pistol (indeed my first ever firearm) and the platform I've shot the most...
...but having just acquired a P226 X6 L1 'Mastershop' all I can say is "Wow!". Very first shot at the range was dead center on the bullseye -- I could not believe it. Accurate, amazing trigger, and soft shooting with the heft of the full sized 6" stainless frame. And it is gorgeous as well. Lovin' it!

I've got quite a few Sigs, but this P226R SAO Elite with a Holosun SCS (Green reticle) is an absolute tack driver. I got lucky and found it for sale online a few years ago with iron sights, then upgraded it to an optical sight when Sig had a sale on milled slides last year.

I've owned two P220's. Very nice. My one son was a dead-eye shot with it. Now I have a P365 and a P938; both still unfired...It's hard for me to get out... I prefer the 938; all metal and I carried a Colt Ltwt Commander for many years...love the single action.
Hard to pick a favorite. Quite enjoy P228, P229, P226, and P220. Less of a fan of the P320 and P365 families, but can’t knock them either, just not my favorites. Got to shoot code33’s GGI modified P210 at a class once, and it was pretty amazing too. I guess I’m polyamorous when it comes to SIGs.

The old school p228 and p226 carbon steel slide pistols had ideal pointability and balance for me. I wish I still had them.
The next best were stainless slide p229 and p226 pistols. You literally can't go wrong with them and lower round count examples are still out there for reasonable on the secondary market.
I also regret letting my German frame p220 combats go too. Those pistols were awesome with a can.
TBH, all of my SIGs from that era were great pistols. I'm not sure how the current ones are though, but probably still very good guns.

For me, my W German P225. Second place finishers are tied between: P239/9, P226/9, P229/40, P220/45, and P230/232.
Unlike most SIG aficionados, I never bonded with the P228 for reasons that I cannot explain. It has uses the same grip panels as the P229 that I love, but somehow just never "felt right", so the total of 3 that I have owned in the past have all been sold. I was recently thinking of trying another one since my LGS had several, but just didn't want to waste any more money on a futile endeavor.

I truly love all my guns. I have a special affinity for my P230 though. I bought it in the 90’s and carried it as my off duty weapon for 6 years. To this day it just feels great in my hand. I bought 2 new guns this year. An HK VP9 and an Sig P322. I have shot and enjoyed that P322 more than any gun I own this year. I am kicking myself for not shooting a .22 before this.it is a super fun gun. I have put about 3k rounds through it to date. I’ve played with lots of different ammo and probably had 15-20 misfires. More than all my other guns combined. It misfires far less than other .22s I see at the range. .22 is simply a dirty and cheap round. Either way, I love this P322. Next up is a P220 or an HK 45. I love the both but am leaning towards the HK.

Where was this if you don’t mind? I have a LE trade in P228 mags marked EOPD.
And I like them all but have a special place for 94 P226 K kote finish as it was the first for me.This message has been edited. Last edited by: RR,
