A couple or three weeks ago, I added to an order a box of 380 Auto 100 Grain TMC Streak Green cartridges from sgammo, for no logical reason I could think of.

Must have been a touch of prescience.

I have to admit I don’t know what slam fire means. I had to look it up. Looks like a fun albeit expensive hobby.

I mean... I guess it's a potentially interesting way to turn .380 rounds into smoke and noise, if one were so inclined, but that seems like a gimmick that would get old after the first few rounds.

So considering there's zero functional purpose to such a thing, and I can think of about a million other things I'd rather spend $800 on, plus I happen to think it's pretty ugly, it's definitely not my cup of tea.

Though there's an ass for every seat, I suppose. Just not this ass.

I'm still confused as to what this has to do with pirates. Is it supposed to look like a pirate's flintlock pistol?

Aaargh?

Absolutely.
For a lot a new gun developments, I might state -- "Interesting. Not for me. Hope it works out for them." This one is along the lines of "WTF".

If slam fire means the same as my Winchester mdl 12 shotgun, I see this pistol as a good way to shoot yourself or somebody near by.
