I have had a “want” for some 22mag handgun and have been looking at the Walther WMP for plinking. Does anyone have any history with one and is it worth a buy?

if the PMR30 didn't exist that'd be the 22mag I'd buy if I were in the market for one.

I love my Walther .22 mag pistol. My 22 magnum semi auto rifle is very picky With ammo. My WMP has been one hundred percent reliable over several hundred rounds. Just be advised. It is a very large pistol. If you have very small hands\nI would try to go to a gun shop and handle one first, but yes I recommend It very highly.
A little more recoil than a regular .22lr , but the blast and fun of a .38 super. Some brands of twenty two magnum produce a bright muzzle flash. Save those for when sun is starting to set. It's one of those pistols that is just plain fun and everybody loves shooting it. Plus you don't have to pick up brass or reload ammo.

Do they make or come with a threaded barrel attachment to use with suppressors?
