Interesting... I just checked the weight of my 2 CZ pistols. Both Shadow 2 and Tactical Sport are over 45oz. X5 doesn't seem heavy to me at around 46oz for SS and 42oz for alloy frame Smile.

WOW! I don’t know how they pulled that off. I’ve never weighed my P226 X5 Allaround to compare it to any of my other P226s, but that thing is a brick by comparison. Finely machined, smooth as glass, but heavy, very heavy next to an alloy P226.

The 226 X6 Legion uses new Tungsten infused grips (called TXG). If you swap those out with aftermarket grips, it would lighten up the gun.

I believe the reason they went this way is because an all stainless gun would be too heavy for some competition rulebooks, and this gives us a gun that is as heavy as is allowable.
