As in a tool that holds and releases a moonclip through some sort of manipulation? Probably similar to a speedloader but with the moonclip already attached to the bullets? Carrying moon clips naturally seems problematic. Nine years to retirement! Just waiting!

I was hoping to find something a little more robust than these 3D printed ones. This guy only makes a couple sizes. Nine years to retirement! Just waiting!

How strange. Shoot a while and then pick up your clips with brass, the loader knob, and the loader tube. Phew. I have kydex carriers for competition, if I carried a clipgun for defense or duty, a .44 speedloader pouch will hold two layers of clipped .45s.

Yeah, I’m not really concerned with speed in a speed loader. More something that securely holds a loaded moonclip preventing damage to the moonclip and doesn’t look like I’m at a match. I know there are various belt holder styles for competitions. Nine years to retirement! Just waiting!

My friend the pharmacist stows clipped ammo in a tall pill bottle of the right diameter. Of course he transfers some to a belt carrier for actual shooting.

45 or 9mm? Cause 45 Auto Rim is available if you reload.

You ain’t kidding. I haven’t even unboxed it yet but I was picturing the design in my head the other day. Basically an insert for a larger leather speedloader. Tapered shaft to keep it tight. 6 concave holes in the base to hold the rounds from shaking and moving. Should all fit nicely in a preloaded pouch without having a bunch a room like you normally would with just a moonclip.
I saw this online. Not a bad option. I just hate big stuff in my pockets. My wallet isn’t unwieldy but it still irritates me.
10mm unfortunately. Doesn’t even give me a good reason to go to 10 mm Magnum, its rimless too. Nine years to retirement! Just waiting!

I love revolvers with moon clips. That being said what you want doesn’t really exist. Moon clips excel in competition. That’s it. Any bending of torquing of that moon clip will bind you up in a heartbeat. It also doesn’t take much and you might not notice. If I’m carrying it for dangerous critters it’s moon clip in the gun then a speedloader. Which is why my revolvers aren’t in 10mm. If you find a solution that you would bet your life on then I would love to hear it. Good luck. I use moon lips in comp with my 627 Pro, 357.

I have the Adams holster designed moon clip holder for my Performance Center S&W 686 with a 2.5" barrel that holds seven rounds, and it works as designed. it works well. My only complaint would be that once you have it on your belt you can't really adjust it. It doesn't want to slide on the belt.
