So it's been a minute. I sold off my sigs a while back (don't ask) but recently started feeling a little nostalgic. Lucky me, I found an old school P229 in 357 sig at a reasonable price.



It's good to be back.

Good choice, I have one of those myself along with a 239 in 357sig.

Great gun. Years ago I took a shooting class and one of the guest instructors, a full-time US Air Marshal, had his duty P229 in .357. The guy was blindingly fast from draw with perfect double taps/shot placement. I felt so lame a shot ! Enjoy that great 229.

Yeah, if you ask me to close my eyes and imagine a handgun, the plain-jane 229 is what I see. I'm glad to have one in the safe.
