Looks nickel, and no it's not worth fixing it unless you just want to use it to practice your welding skills. Get a replacement slide, part it out, or accept it for what it is and use as a truck/fun gun. The stippling job on the frame just about removed any remaining value it might've had. | |||

Based upon the recommendations received in this thread, rather than attempting to salvage the original slide I purchased a period correct replacement. Thank you to all for steering me away from what would have been a more costly repair option. Understanding the pistol has little to no collector interest, any additional work I may choose to perform will be for my own enjoyment. I will update this thread periodically as the project progresses. | |||

Looks good and makes it ready to use, I'd keep the original slide, and look for a bo-mar rib, who knows one might turn up. Guessing that middle offset hole was drilled in error. | |||
